Part 1:
Telemarketing Scripts

Scripts as well as telemarketing might walk hand in hand just like mothers and apple pies but there is one hitch in this scenario. We are quite fond of moms and apple pies but telemarketing is much disliked. The people who work tediously yet put up unimpressive projects are the ones who dislike telemarketing the most.

Let me tell you that scripts as well as telemarketing make bad business together. However you can always devise a smart way of making them work together and let your business flourish

What is the function of scripts?

For those in movies, the actors I mean utilize scripts to deliver impressive action on camera. The scripts help them to put up a great show, one that will extract favorable responses from the spectators. The function of scripts in institutions and corporations is that the scripts help the administrators in promoting their commodities. The script allows them to enjoy a regular gain scale and also withholds the clients.

Peter F. Drucker, the management guru, put in a great deal of attention and research in the process of examination as well as conclusion that the doctors used when treating their patients. After much observation and studies, he realized a significant matter concerning life and death. Some doctors did not abide by any scripts or other logical methods of treating an ailment and thus pushed their patients towards death. As soon as definite methods of treatment were found and followed, like washing hands with antiseptic before an operation, the death rate fell.

Thus the doctors definitely were moving closer to their objective i.e. saving lives.

Scripts are important but they do have a bad name. Why?

Quite a number of people gladly use scripts as long as they cannot be traced.

Like we all know, we do not really talk about the playwright or the screenwriter when we walk out of a movie hall or a theatre house. Much though the lines that they pen down are fantastic and indispensable to the movie or the play, yet the more fascinating they get, the lesser we recognize them. Again the dialogue that needs to be spoken should seem spontaneous and free, as if the actor just made them up himself or herself. This is the work of the actor and the director. When a beautiful and well- composed script is performed to match its worth, then it surpasses all levels of despise and dislike.

However, spectators and clients dislike scripts that are boring and fake. False scripts undermine the illusion aspect as well as the light detecting space that are extremely significant for any play or even when retaining a client or carrying out some customer service work. A silly and unimpressive script can ruin the entire business.

Hence work on your script writing before you jettison scripting!
